What this website is

This site is an independent editorial publication operated by EuroHostelTraveler LLC. We write guides about hostels, air travel procedures and regional routes. We are not an airline, an airline agent, a consolidator, an online travel agency, a hostel chain or a booking intermediary of any kind.

We hold no reservation systems and no access to your booking. We cannot issue, reissue, cancel, refund, upgrade or rename a ticket, and we cannot alter a hostel reservation. Any request of that kind must go to the airline, the agency that issued the ticket, or the property itself.

Editorial information is not professional advice

Our articles describe how airline fares, baggage rules, connections and hostel bookings generally work. They are not legal, immigration, medical, insurance or financial advice. Fare rules differ by airline, ticket and route, and visa rules change without notice.

Before you act on anything you read here, confirm it with the airline, the property, your insurer or the relevant consulate. Where our guidance and a provider's own conditions of carriage disagree, the provider's terms win.

Acceptable use

Short quotations with a clear credit and a working link back to the original article are welcome and do not need permission.

• Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers.
• Do not republish whole articles or our photograph selections as your own work.

Intellectual property

Article text, page structure, editorial selections and the EuroHostelTraveler name and logo belong to us. Photographs are licensed works from Wikimedia Commons and remain the property of their photographers, who are credited under each image. If you reuse a photograph, follow that photographer's licence rather than these terms.

We link to airlines, hostels, rail operators and public authorities because it is useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, prices or availability, and a link is not a guarantee of quality or safety.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, denied boarding, refused entry, lost deposits or costs of alternative accommodation, arising from your use of the information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Availability and changes

We may add, edit, correct or remove articles at any time, and the site may be unavailable during maintenance. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law
