Verify before you commit

Before you book, pay a fee, or travel on the strength of something you read here, confirm the time-sensitive parts with the party that actually decides them: the airline for fares and baggage, the airport or handler for procedures, the operator for timetables, the property for prices and reception hours, and your own government plus the destination's authorities for entry requirements.
