Accuracy

Facts are checked before publication, not assumed from memory or copied from another source without verification. Where something cannot be confirmed, it is left out.

Specificity and Real Places

We name the actual hostel, airport, neighbourhood, or route being discussed rather than writing in vague generalities. A useful travel article names names.

Clear Sources

• Official airline, airport, and transport operator sources for procedural and schedule information.
• Government and tourism authority sources for entry requirements and destination facts.
• First-party information from the accommodation itself, where relevant.

Updates and Corrections

Articles carry a last-updated date and are revisited as travel conditions change. Errors are corrected directly in the text, with the update date moved and, where the error was material, a note on what changed.

Editorial Independence

Coverage decisions and conclusions are made independently of any commercial relationship. A hostel or airline's willingness to work with us has no bearing on how it is described.

Advertising and Commercial Content

Where advertising appears, it is clearly separated from editorial content and does not influence which topics we cover or what we conclude about them.

Photography and AI Content Policy

Ordinary article photography uses real photographs from trusted sources, credited appropriately. We do not use AI-generated imagery to illustrate ordinary travel articles, because readers deserve to see what a place actually looks like.

Writing Style

We aim for practical, readable travel writing - specific, useful, and free of filler - rather than padded prose written to fill a word count.
