There were four in our party, including an 89-year old uncle, and we were there to fish for trout. The hostel/hotel was clean and the room was OK, but 4 of us stayed in one room and it was bare bones for the money (i.e., US$177 per night). For example, you get one small packet of instant coffee per person and don't dare ask for more. The owner/manager was somewhat friendly, but not very helpful, particularly when it came to explaining where to start fishing or anything else. My main recommendation is to bring all the food or snacks you need because there's nothing there you can buy or borrow.

We had a double room, small and simple. The public area was large and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly. We had the entire hostel to ourselves until after midnight, so we could enjoy the whole facility. If the hostel had been full, the floor plan might have been a problem. ie rooms around lounge/dining/kitchen, and the bathrooms on the far side of the lounge area. The hostel was located about 15 km from a town; no dining facilities. Good for bird watching.
