"Pleasant stay on a memorable trip"

How sad to call by at this auberge last week only to find it closed. We last stayed in 2008 on our anniversary vacation in the beautiful south of France and ate the most wonderful evening meal prepared by the owner's Australian wife. We were hoping to be able stay for another night on our recent vacation but were sad to see the auberge closed up. We were still able to purchase local wine at the adjacent winery however a shame to see the auberge neglected.

Well we stayed at Mas Camps as a group in 2009 and when we returned in April by chance and decided to try for a room we walked from estagel for two miles to find it to be closed. Hopefully it will reopen as we enjoyed our stay there in 2009, had fun walking the vineyards and the owners were really nice. We were disappointed to have to walk back to Estagel. Going back to the region next year and hope to find it open for business again. I am rating Mas Camps on our previous stay.
