I didn't know what to expect because I only paid 700 rubles for the room and didn't have a description of the circumstances besides the fact I would have a single bed. It turned out to be a single room with my own bathroom/shower, so that was a big plus. Other plusses: room was clean, TV, and a man from the hotel emailed me pre-departure with detailed info on how to get to the hotel from the airport. Minuses: the room reeked pretty badly of smoke, my floor was inexplicably full of 17 and 18 year olds Russian kids without parents (loud shenanigans in the cooridors),and at first there was a registration issue (details: despite the fact I was already registered in Russia and going to be in Vladivostok less than 3 business days the hotel staff wanted to register me to their hotel anyway and at first insisted I provide documentation of where I had been for the previous four days - for unkown peculiar reasons - I argued them out of that, thank god, because I didn't have such documentation.
