We really liked our stay at this hostel and would recommend it to anyone who fits the criteria of young student, not much money and interested in meeting new people and other travellers.
Make sure to organize a trip to the National Park... we were to late and never had a chance to go. Talk to the owner of the Hostel to figure out the best way to get there.

Comments (English):
Gidic Backpackers is a very nice, informal hostel with very friendly staff. Breakfast is really nice! A female dorm is lacking now, but maybe in future?
I loved staying here, and will definitely come back to Gidic.

The owner Fred is very knowledgeable and friendly! He told us many attractions in the old town. The hostel was clean. The cost was economical. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

It is ok just for a few nights. The room i stayed had no lock and it was too small for 8 people. The bathroom was in another floor. The people at reception were really helpful and friendly. But the owner had no manners. You will see when you get there. And he is not a real oz. This is quite funny. Being a citizen of straya is not enough to say that im an australian. If you are really proud of to be an australian what the heck are you doing in a baltic state. That is something he should learn. Anyways my advice is not to stay that hostel. The owner says a lot about his property.
