One weakness is that Nobel Hotel does not have a lift, anyway the staff(s) is willing to give a helping hand in carring my luggage. Other improvements include shower curtain so that water will not spread around during bathing; and putting a safe in each room.
Overall, Nobel is an execellent hotel especially the hospitality of the owner Edmond that added much fun to my trip in Albania (& Macedonia).

"Keep an open mind, and you'll get a nice little hotel!"

This hotel has some things for it and against it, but I heartily recommend it. First, the minuses: it is not in an attractive location, basically in an alleyway between it and the Tirana International Hotel. You look out on and electrical distribution center on the patio. The free breakfast is a little skimpy, but you can order more if you'd like.

Having said that, the pluses are: it is in a perfect location (just off the main square), it is walkable to/from the bus station, it is QUIET - no traffic noise, which is terrible in Tirana; the rooms are clean, great A/C, and the bath/showers are very good. Finally, the staff from the cleaning lady on are very friendly and helpful, to the point of the manager DRIVING me to the bus station to make sure I could find the right bus to Kruja. For 30 euros, it's well worth it!
