| Comments (English): Myself and two friends booked 6 nights at the Art House Hotel. Although the entrance to the hotel is a little vacant and initially intimidating, the minute we walked into the hotel entrance, we were immediatly impressed. The place was very nice, clean, quiet, and charming. We stayed in the Orgami room which was wonderful and although it was on a busy street, the windows were double paned so it was so quiet. We loved having the air conditioning. The staff spoke very little english but were so nice and helpful that we worked it out. Someone would make breakfast for us no matter what time we woke up in the morning. It was also very safe. Unfortuanely, we ended on a negative note because we were informed that they were moving us to another hotel for our last night. We had already paid and the decision had been made by the manager. I guess another client was booking the room for a long time and needed to arrive on the day we were still there. The hotel assured us that the new hotel was even nicer than theirs and that we would be very comfortable. This was not true. We were moved to hotel where we were bitten by mosquitoes and bed bugs, and kept up by lots of noise all night because the window wouldn't close and there were no screens. We felt very upset because we were basically kicked out of the Orgami room which we reserved and paid for and put into one of much lower quality. Luckly, we were leaving very early that next morning. So we loved the Art House but did not like how we were treated in the end and had many bug bites as a painful reminder. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
