Good value hostel ... Very central location. Clean and spacy room for the money. All the area is interesting to see since it is the old Sofia center. Internet hostel is non smoking which we really appreciate. We were given free vouchers for lovely Irish pub they own.

The triple room has queen size beds, it is very spacious, with wooden flooring. View to one of the liveliest streets and the Court House. 21' TV's with 70+ international channels. It also offer antique aristocratic chandelier, wardrobe and dressing table.

The Double room is spacious, with wooden flooring. It has one King size bed/2x2m/, wardrobe and possible extra bed. The room is quiet and looks to the backyard, 21"TV set with 70+ channels.

The quad room is very spacious, has 1 queen bed and two single beds, wooden flooring, wardrobe, mirror table, 21' TV

The dorm room is very spacious, with wooden flooring, it has 5 (possible 6 beds), WE HAVE NO BUNK BEDS! All the mattresses are spring and very comfortable, high ceiling, free lockers!

Twin rooms are high ceiling and spacious, with comfortable new mattresses. Wooden pine furniture and wardrobes. Ceiling fans.

Single room is a bit smaller but have all the comfort of it's bigger brothers: comfortable bed, TV, wardrobe, wooden floor and furniture

How to get there

Go to McDonald's on the corner of Vitosha Blvd. and Alabin str. /very famous point/, the big hostel sign on the second floor can be seen from the corner opposite McDonald's. The entrance is in the small shopping arcade, through glass doors next to Antique shop, take the first white door on the left and follow the signs to the 2nd floor.

1. From the train station:
Take tram 1 or 7 in the direction of the center and get off at Sheraton Hotel ( the forth stop). Walk along Vitosha Blvd. to the Court House and turn left at McDonalds. Walk down the right side of Alabin Str. until you reach a small arcade (next to antique shop, approximately 15m from McDonald's). In the arcade take the first entrance(white door) on your left and the hostel is on the second floor above a bar and restaurant.

2. By Metro /recommended/ > Take Metro and get off on 2nd /Serdika/ station. Continue walking until you reach The Court House /The building with 2 lions statues/. Take a look at opposite corner where is McDonald's Restaurant. Follow above instructions.

2. From Sofia Airport:

A) Take bus No 84 from the airport and get off at the last stop (near Pizza Hut). Walk along Gurko Str. which becomes Alabin Str. The hostel is on the left side in an arcade which is approximately 15m before you reach McDonald's on the corner. In the arcade take the first entrance(white door) on your left and the hostel is on the second floor above a small bar and vegetarian restaurant 'Dream House'.

B) By Taxi - Go to 'OK Supertrans taxi company booth, located in arrivals terminal. Show them the address. They should give you a document for taxi order and will assist, guiding you to the cab or calling the cab driver. The taxi will stop on the opposite side of the street, where is located the hostel. Expect to pay between 9 or 13BGN /Bulgarian Leva/, day or nighttime. Few meters further you must see McDonald's restaurant. You will notice above it big signboard with our hostel name. Follow the above instructions.
