| Comments (English): We highly appreciate our host for unselfish help to discovering the conceal of pearls, cave churches and amazing springs in this region. This guesthouse is lovely place with central location, with appartments much better than a lot of hotels. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Comments (English): All compliments for this accomodation in lovely environment with central location,near to post office, to the beaches, to the historical sites, to restaurants, banks, change office, shoping street and every possible things which you could be imagine. | Comments (English): My partner and I stayed there for 6 nights, only because we were asked to pay the whole fee upon arrival, something I’ve never been asked in four years of staying in different hostels and hotels in Eastern Europe. We soon saw why and regretted our situation—in short, what wasn’t wrong with this place? Anastasia Homestay is extremely over-priced for the facilities provided. The owners are clearly trying to get more money for less value. False advertising: The location in the town centre and the view from the balcony are lovely, but we found very few of the facilities advertised on the websites. There was no air conditioning, and towels were not provided. The ‘fully-equipped kitchen’ advertised lacked basic cooking implements, was extremely small, and ran out of gas. Worse yet, for our first three days we found the kitchen a mess with dirty dishes and half-eaten food covering every surface when we wanted to use it. After casually asking the other guests, we determined it was the owners who hadn’t cleaned up after their own cooking. When we complained on the fourth day, the kitchen was cleaned and stayed clean afterwards. However, some of our food had disappeared as well. Extra fees: When we asked if we could use the advertised laundry facilities, we were told one load of laundry would cost 5 euros. We had to show them the website to be able to do our laundry for free with our own detergent. Overcrowding: During our stay, we counted at least 8 people, maybe more, using one small residential bathroom. Needless to say, it was difficult to find it free and it was not kept as clean as we would have liked. Annoyances: Finally, we found and killed two small scorpions, one in our bedroom and one in the bathroom. Our last night was miserable due to the 8 or so loud teenage boys having a party in the garden outside. It was too loud to read, watch television or sleep. And to add insult to injury, we got a knock at the door at 9:00 in the morning on our last day. The owner wanted us to be out within an hour or two because the next guests had shown up early! Anastasia Homestay is extremely over-priced for the facilities provided.
