The Welcome Home BB is easy to reach by getting the 64 bus from the Termini Station or train to the San Pietro station, which is literally across the road. It consists of 4 separate apartments in a large building. When I arrived the landlady wasn't there, so I had to phone her, she arrived with a female assistant about 30 minutes later. In the review it says that these rooms had been refurnished in 2006, but the renovation work was still going on, wires sticking out of the wall, only half of the door on the shower, but this was fixed within an hour of me arriving and a mirror placed in the bathroom, the room was clean though, but very basic, no TV as stated. It's described as a B& B, but for me there was no breakfast, I saw no dining room and nothing was mentioned about it, so really it should have been called a B. It's not especially quiet, as you can hear the announcements from the railway station across the road. You need 4 keys!, one for the gate, one for the main door, 1 for the door to the rooms and one for your own room, they are all colour coded though. You can come and go whenever you want, even in the middle of the night, which made it easy for my girlfriend who lives in Rome to come to my room. It's in a good location, literally only a few minutes walk from the Vatican and easy to reach central Rome, lots of restaurants in the area.
Despite its limitations, it wasn't a bad place to stay for the price.

When we stayed there, the place was still being refinished. At the end of our stay, it was done, and quite nice, including air conditioning, satellite TV, a little kitchen where you can make a cup of coffee, a refrigerator, etc. The owner, Filomena, was extremely accommodating and thoughtful even under difficult circumstances.
The location is ideal: in comfortable walking distance to the Vatican; a train station right across the street connects you with DaVinci international airport, and Termini Train Station (bus # 64, no transfers!). (A taxi would be 50 Euro.) Quarters are a little tight but well equipped.
All in all, a good choice.
