They do not have food available in the building but plenty of places to get food just outside the front door.I rated it low for food because they did not provide anything. There is not a way to omit rating something the place does not have to offer. So my low score for food will lower the over all rating of the place. I can not however rate the food a 5 when they do not provide it.
Not fancy accomidations. But it was clean and comfortable. It is in a great location with lots of activity in that location. Easy to get to the metro, just a short walk to the metro.
I would stay there again. I was there with my daughter. The room was a private with our own bath room. It was plain, clean and we liked the staff. Compared to other places the value was very good for the cost.

Hostal El Pilar has an excellent location and its acoomodations are extremelly clean and the staff very friendly.
