Nuestra experiencia ha sido horrible. Este supuesto hostal es en realidad la casa de una chica de origen chino con unas 3 habitaciones. Nosotros llegamos sobre las 12 de la noche y fuimos a la direccion q te indica al reservar (A.Capellini); en esta calle, sucia, peligrosa y sin iluminacion encontramos el supuesto "hostal".Era un edificio practicamente en ruinas q daba miedo. Subimos x un ascensor de la 1ª guerra mundial y alli nos esperaba la dueña (la chica china). Para nuestro consuelo nos dijo q ese ya no era el hotel, y nos llevo caminando hasta su nueva casa, q tampoco era mucho mejor q lo anterior, pero x lo menos el edificio no se caia. Cuando entramos, habia varios hombres (inquilinos) en la cocina la cual mediria 2 m cuadrados como mucho. Estos hombres estuvieron armando escandalo hasta las 3 de la mañana y nadie les llamaba la atencion. Recuerdo q esto es un piso y se oye todo. De la habitacion mejor ni hablar, solo decir q las fotos q salen no son las d la casa, ni tampoco hay ni secador de pelo, ni mesita de noche, ni despertador, ni la bañera de la foto, ni internet... Lo unico aceptable era q la china era bastante amable, aunq aun no habiamos dejado las maletas y me dijo q le pagaramos. Por supuesto no tenia detefono para cobrar con tarjeta. Nada mas pasar alli la 1ª noche, ya x la mañana se nos fueron las ganas d ver roma y nos dedicamos toda la mañana a buscar otro hotel. Tuvimos suerte y encontramos otro, pudimos pasar los ultimos 4 dias en un hotel decente.

If you´re looking for a relatively cheap place in Rome, the Vittoria´s not bad. It´s basic but it´s situated right next to the train station, so no lugging your luggage around the city and about 10 mins walk to some of the monuments.
Breakfast was included, and to my surprise was a traditional Chinese one, which I liked, as the place is run by a helpful, friendly Chinese girl.
The room was your standard Hostel bunk bed arrangement.
Female travellers may want to note that the area isn´t the best to walk around alone at night, but I had no problems. I always think places look worse than they really are.

The hostel is more a home for chinese immigrants than a hostel. Since there are people living there, the rooms are full with all their stuff. The bathrooms were terrible and the breakfast (that was supposed to be included) never happened. The location is the best thing, just beside the train station, but it is not worth, since the neighbourhood is very dangerous. As a woman, I felt very threatned arriving there after it was dark.
