Description - Hotel

An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome...

Mandarin and Mango are a pair of delightful boutique hotels situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast.

Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin and Mango have been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, but nevertheless boast a delightfully informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension.

Comprising just 18 spacious guestrooms and suites between them, Mandarin & Mango Boutique Hotels offer a very intimate ambience, making them perfect venues for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, our hotels are equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain this air of tranquillity, Mandarin & Mango do not accept children under the age of 12 years (with the exception of group bookings renting one or both hotels in their entirety).

We invite you to browse our website to see and read more about what makes our little retreat so special, and hope that you will visit us soon to experience our unique qualities for yourself!

Each room also benefits from a good-size balcony or terrace with reclining chairs allowing you to relax and absorb the tranquillity, with lovely views across the countryside and down towards the sea from the upper-floor rooms Our original hotel, Mandarin, comprises two suites created from a converted villa and six deluxe double rooms in an attractively designed building created from natural stone. The Junior Suite on the ground floor of the original Villa Mandarin has a bedrooms with twin beds and a separate living area with a single bed, and boasts a fenced-in garden where its Jacuzzi is located. Neighborhood

An idyllic retreat far from the madding crowds...

Situated just south of the stunning Butterfly Valley, the sleepy hamlet of Faralya is an idyllic retreat, where life continues at a relaxed pace.

And yet this rural haven lies just 9km from the popular seaside resort of Oludeniz, whose famous lagoon beach is one of Turkey's most photographed images and just 21km from the bustling harbour and market town of Fethiye. The international airport at Dalaman is 80km away and is served by regular flights from all major UK and European airports, as well as offering several daily links with Istanbul for those making connections from further afield.

In spite of Mandarin & Mango's rural setting, a hire car is not strictly necessary, for there is a local taxi and the dolmus service (up to 9 times per day depending on the season), which serves both Oludeniz and Fethiye, can be flagged down. Those hiring a car or using local taxis can reach the sandy beach of Kidrak in around 10 minutes, whilst Kabak beach is a similar distance in a four-wheel drive vehicle (or a 5-minute drive plus 15 minute walk). Confident swimmers can bathe off the rocks at Aktas, around 20-30 minutes walk away.

Culture vultures will be in their element, as there is a wealth of fascinating historical sites to be explore within the scope of a day's outing, from the atmospheric "ghost village" of Kayakoy to ancient sites including Tlos, Pinara, Xanthos, Letoon, Patara and Cadyanda.
